Trellidor is a fully framed retractable security grillee, which expands to secure the whole of the opening, and is positively restrained along all four edges of the perimeter. When access is required, the grillee is unlocked and parted at a point within the span, or at the left or right hand side, according to the configuration. The grillee is then retrated into a compact stack on either or both sides of the opening.

The entire range of grillees can be supplied in a retractable or fixed format. Many buildings have apetures that do not need access but still require security. By supplying a fixed grillee that matches the retractable grillees for these arpetures it is possible to reduce costs and maintain the style of the building.

Other configurations of the Trellidor have been individually developed to meet specific market requirements. For example:
Hinge-away unit, Angle units, Hing-up bottom track, Covered track, Cut-in tracks, Side-by-side, Removable track, Electric access control.

As a result Trellidors are now being used in thousands of installations varying enormously in scope and application.

Trellidor Economy

Trellidor Economy offers affordable security without compromising aesthetics, ease of use, or build quality. This has beeh achieved principally by limiting the configuration options and sizes available, so enabling greater component standardization.

Available in single, double and fixture configurations, Trellidor Economy:

• Provides strong, steel physical security to deter criminals from gaining entry and yet is light to operate and looks attractive.
• Is tailor-made to suit any door, window or passage opening. Even difficult to secure openings Can be accommodated by our design and development team.
• Retracts easily as its weight is carried on the top track.
• Stacks neatly to either one side or on both sides of the opening to suit individual room configurations.
• Has design features to prevent tripping on bottom tracks.
  Allows the free flow of air and light whilst maintaining good levels of security.

From the inside GriffinGuard allows 60% of available light to enter and allows visibility and airflow through the holes. In fact, GriffinGuard is one of the most unobtrusive forms of window security available.

GriffinGuard can be supplied with a hing-away option that allows for cleaning of windows or a stand-off option that provides clearance for outward opening windows. The anti-graffiti finish option causes paint to 'bead-off' rather than sticking and is supplied with a cleaning kit.
